Jane Northup was born in 1817 Ohio, the daughter of Hampton and Elizabeth Jane (Dean) Northup She was married three times. First to John W. Shaw in LA SALLE County, Il. on 12/08/1841. They had one child, Martha Shaw. The second time, to Isaac Harrington, produced one son, James E. Harrington, about 1846. The third time, she married Joseph Blaylock, and they had four more children, Joseph Stephen, Francis Monroe, Nancy and Eli.
